Important information to know before commissioning us!

Concept Art

In order to get every detail correct on your custom character and minimize confusion between builder and cLient, A 2-VIEW REFERENCE OF THE CHARACTER IS REQUIRED TO GIVE AN ACCURATE QUOTE. 

Payment

If a commission costs less than $450, clients ARE EXPECTED TO PAY IN FULL when The slot is claimed AND BOTH PARTIES AGREE ON THE PRICE. 30% OF THE PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

PAYMENT PLANS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED ON COMMISSIONS OVER $450. THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PAYMENTS A COMMISSION CAN BE SPLIT INTO is three. PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID BI-WEEKLY (EVERY 2 WEEKS). NO EXCEPTIONS. EACH PAYMENT WILL BE NON-REFUNdABLE AFTER RECEIVED. UPON Claiming the slot, Clients MUST PAY THEIR FIRST PAYMENT.

WORK WILL NOT BEGIN ON ANY COMMISSION UNTIL the commission is paid off. FREAK OF NATURE STUDIOS ONLY ACCEPTS PAYMENTs THROUGH PAYPAL.

Cancelations

Full Payment Cancellations: 
As stated before, 30% of payments paid in full are non-refundable after payment is received. How much work has already been completed on a commission at the time a cancellation request is received, will affect how much of the remaining 70% can be refunded back, which is at Freak of Nature Studios' discretion. 

Payment Plan Cancellations:
As stated before, each payment is non-refundable after it has been received. If a cancellation request is received between payments, no payments will be refunded to the client and the remaining payments will simply not have to be paid.

Design Changes

Changes on the original quoted design can be made up until supplies are ordered for your custom fursuit commission. Once supplies are ordered for the character, any requested changes cannot be guaranteed. Due to this, PLEASE be completely satisfied with the design/reference of your character before supplies are ordered. NOTICE: Any design changes made after the original quoted price is given can either decrease or increase the original quoted price.

Completion Estimates

Freak of Nature Studios will kindly provide a rough estimate of when a commission will be completed, but these dates are NEVER guaranteed. Freak of Nature Studios will not sacrifice quality in order to rush the completion date of a commission. The estimated completion date is subject to change based on when the work for the fursuit commission actually begins. Again, work will not start on a fursuit commission until full payment is received.

Sizing

a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) is only required for Fullsuit commissions. 
Freak of Nature Studios will base their fursuit head size off a series of measurements described in the diagram to the right. It is GREATLY ENCOURAGED to take these measurements AT LEAST 3 times each to get the best fit and to ensure the measurements weren’t taken to tight/loose.

Shipping

Shipping costs are not included in the quote of any fursuit commission. Shipping will be an additional charge which may vary based on where the client lives. (Usually $40-100 within the United States) An additional fee for insurance and signature requirement should be expected to ensure the client receives their commission safely. Freak of Nature Studios is NOT at all responsible for any lost or damaged received product.
NOTICE: In regards to international shipping, Freak of Nature Studios is NOT at all responsible for international customs agency charges, fees, or hold times. 

Extras

Freak of Nature Studios reserves the right to refuse service to ANYONE.
