So you want to commission Freak of Nature Studios, but you don't know where to start? We're here to help!

Step 1: Choose a Character!

Choose which character/fursona you would like to be made into a fursuit, and make sure you have an unshaded, 2-view reference sheet for that character! Ensure you are completely happy with the design of this character, including markings, colors, etc. While this step may seem obvious to some people, it is very important because the maker will use this reference sheet throughout the creation process.

Step 2: If quotes are open,Request one!

Freak of Nature Studios gives quotes through direct message on either Instagram or Twitter for $5 per character! When requesting a quote, include your reference sheet and any additional features you would like on your fursuit to get the most accurate quote. Freak of nature studios usually responds to quote requests within 1-3 days. Now that you have your quoted price, all you have to do is wait for commissions to open!

Step 3: Once commissions open, Fill out the google form!

Once Freak of Nature Studios' commissions open, a Google form link will be announced on both Instagram and Twitter. Those who are interested in claiming a commission slot must fill out the entire Google form accurately. The Google form will ask for basic personal information and information about the commission. Be as specific as possible. The Google form will be used to quote the FINAL commission price, so if any detail of the character is left out, it may result in an extra charge later on. The individual filling out the Google form must be 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER and will be asked to provide proof of their age (ID or Driver's License). NO EXCEPTIONS.

1. Does Freak of Nature Studios take foambase commissions?
We do! Our foambases start at $400 and can come lined with a lycra fabric at an extra charge. They are NOT ready-to-fur bases. Our foambases will still need eyes and mouth details added before they are ready to fur .

2. Can Freak of Nature Studios refurbish my fursuit head?
We do sometimes accept refurb commissions but it is on a case-by-case basis. Acceptance depends on the overall quality of the head before it is refurbished.

3. Does Freak of Nature Studios create fursuit accessories (collars, harnesses, plush toys, etc)?
We do not currently offer any fursuit accessories. 

4. If I already possess a foambase, can Freak of Nature Studios complete the head for me?
This is very rarely accepted. Acceptance depends on the quality of the foambase supplied by the client. 

5. Does Freak of Nature Studios accept "Artistic Liberty" commissions?
No, we do not accept artistic liberty commissions. 

6. Does Freak of Nature Studios accept payment plans?
Yes, we do! The details about the payment plan we accept is within our Terms of Service! 

7. What does a Mini-partial and Partial include?
A Mini-partial includes: Head, Handpaws, and Tail.
A Partial includes: Head, Handpaws, Feetpaws, and Tail.

8. What does Freak of Nature Studios NOT CURRENTLY offer on their suits?
We currently do not offer separate arm-sleeves,wings, 3D/Follow me eyes, or long/flowing hair styles. If you are not sure if we offer a certain feature, feel free to ask!

9. If I supply the fur for my commission will that lower the price?
You can supply the fur for your commission if you would like, but the price of the commission will not be reduced from doing so.

​10. How long will it take for my commission to be complete?
We complete most larger commissions (Head, Mini-partials,Partials) within 6 months! Smaller commissions take even less time. fullsuits can take up to 8 months to complete. 

11. Does Freak of Nature Studios ship internationally (Outside of the United States)?
We do ship internationally! It is important to keep in mind that international shipping prices usually range anywhere from ($100-$300). In addition, the Customs Agency of your country MAY hold your package and require you to pay a fee for the package to be released to you. Freak of Nature Studios is not responsible for any International Customs Agency charges, fees, or hold times. 

12. What forms of payment does Freak of Nature Studios accept? 
We only accept payments in $USD and through PayPal. 

13. What age do I have to be to commission Freak of Nature Studios? 
You must be 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER to commission Freak of Nature Studios.

No, we do not. 

15. Can Freak of Nature Studios make my fursuit head to accommodate glasses?
No, our fursuit heads are not made to be worn with glasses.

There is a cat within the household but it is never allowed within the room where fursuits are made since I, myself, am allergic to cats.
